Peter Causton

Barrister and Mediator

Peter Causton is a barrister and an experienced civil and commercial mediator, and is a Fellow of the Civil Mediation Council. He practised for many years as a solicitor, conducting substantial litigation, before returning to the Bar.

He sits as a Deputy District Judge and has considerable experience of disputes concerning property, inheritance, probate and family-related financial issues, as well as a broad range of complex civil and commercial claims.

Peter is also a mediation trainer and assessor and writes and speaks regularly on mediation and dispute resolution.
